I’m thinking of getting my hair done very soon — that is like er, tomorrow or the day after. Unfortunately, I still can’t make up my mind about what I want to do with it.
Since I was still expecting Adam, I had actually planned to perm my hair again after a satisfactory visit to Jean Yip at Bugis Junction.
However, I then went to Jean Yip Tampines, and the hairdresser could convince me that I should rebond my hair instead. Perm definitely needs lots of extra attention, and she said once I had a baby, there would be no time for that. Good point. Sadly, I’ve been obsessed with Angela Zhang’s permed hair as you could see on the picture .
So now I’m torn between the two. What do you think, what should I do?
Rebonding:
- Expensive
- Easy to maintain
- Pretty
Perm:
- Very expensive
- Very high maintenance
- Very pretty

I’d go for rebonding. As you stated, easy to maintain. I never go for perm before only saw my sister and my late mom done it. Never thought of how I’d look like in perm even. LOL

Borrow CSI computer and superimpose your face with various hairstyle and see which one you like! hehehe…
Okay…okay…since I’ve never tried perming my hair, I would say rebonding. But is it still in fashion? hehe. BTw…Overtime, all chemical treatment will make our hair brittle and dry ya? And to maintain the health we must go for hair treatment (spa lah…creambath lah…) often…which means more expenses…
How about sporting short hair like Halle Berry itu loh?

Wah no short hair for me :p I look boyish with such hairdo. But I agree with you girls. In the end I went for soft rebonding. It may not be so in fashion anymore but at least no more frizzy hair. Still want Korean perm though boohoo…maybe later when Adam’s big enough.
Mbak Dyah: The salon is called Arches or something like that. Total damage was $238 (my hair is extra long). Normal rebonding for long hair is only $168 (including hair cut, wash and spa). Worth the price lah
