A study conducted by Harris Interractive found that female office workers in the US spend an average of 9.3 hours a day with their computers — compared with 3.6 hours with their partners.
The poll involved almost 3,000 respondents, and only one in five of them wished she would have more quality time with her partner.
The result proves that adult American work more than ding any other activity with 8.2 hours in office, and only 7.6 hours sleep.
How about you?
For me, my home is my office, and in normal circumstances I would spend at least 10 hours per day with my computer, compared to 8 hours of sleeping. But spending time in front of computer doesn’t always mean work. I bet many of those office workers spending some time (apart from their lunch breaks) to edit their Facebook or something. Well, at least that’s what I saw in my time as an office worker.
And at least for us, playing MMORPG together with my other half doesn’t really count as work, although both of us are actually sitting in front of our computers. Doing a quest together can help you to bond better.
