I just read today on My Paper that a house crow found dead in Hong Kong was infected with the H5N1 bird flu virus, which is deadly for humans.

I’m not usually overly concerned about issues happened in other places. I know, that makes me sound a bit ignorant — and that’s bad. But now I am concerned. Who could’ve told that the bird carried the virus, unless it was found dead? And who could guarantee that all those birds we have here in Singapore are safe? It’s worrying, because the hubby has to deal with their droppings at least once a week, whenever he parks on an open car park.

The least we can do is to make sure that we wash our hands often. Three years ago I was once criticized by an American doctor for saying that. But hey, now it’s a common knowledge to prevent bird flu. Anyways, bird flu is still flu, after all.

Now I just wonder whether women would still be after bird poo facials after reading this kind of news. What does Victoria Beckham think? I wrote this article a while ago. It seems that she’s too a fan of this treatment. I hope she washes her face often after each session.
