Bitching About the Old Stuff I Missed
• I was just browsing the internet when I found this hilarious post. Check out that nozzle in the picture below.
Some of you may wonder what is it good for—you can find it next to the toilet in many places in Asia. Why do they need it there instead of toilet paper? It might be difficult to understand and very impractical, but Asians seem to stick with it even nowadays when they are already familiar with the concept of using toilet papers. Why, you cried. The’d ask back, you do wash your hands after using the toilet paper, don’t you? Of course, you returned. If you think the toilet paper is not clean enough for your hands, they said, why would it be for your rear?
• I think PETA’s campaigners can sometimes do the things which common people like us always wanted to do—but couldn’t; like hitting Paris Hilton with flour bombs ; Or showing Beyonce how her expensive fur coat was made. But there are also times when they are nothing more than a bunch of people wanted to strip in public for what they claimed as good cause with names like Traci Bingham, Jodie Marsh, Dennis Rodman and of course, Pamela Anderson . “We’d better bare skin than wearing skin”, they said. Um, whatever! I don’t know if stripping is really the best way to stop people from torturing animals, but those campaigners have some fans. This girl is one of them. Here she was doing what she’s best at: stripping! The target was the KFC on Kiraly utca. Too bad she was busted before finishing her quest yesterday. I’d suggest her to protest against the tax hike next time. Click here for more pictures.
• Budapest hasn’t been busier than the day when US president George W. Bush visited the town last month. The government had made sure that the world’s most famous president would be safe here by having security checks everywhere, including in the sewers, I heard. Dozens or perhaps hundreds of tourists and other visitors being kicked out of their deluxe rooms at the Le Meridien Budapest where Mr. Bush stayed. Trams stopped working and the passengers were told to get off in the morning. Why, because they were setting barricade for Mr. Bush around the parliament. On his not so impressive speech, Mr. Bush drew a direct link between Hungary’s quashed anti-communist rebels of 1956 and Iraq’s struggling leaders of 2006. “We’ve learned from your example, and we resolve that when people stand up for their freedom, America will stand with them”, he said. What’s that saying again: “If you don’t have anything nice to say,…stfu?!” Of course the saying is not for you, kind readers. If you are still curious about what happened exactly, click here.

PETE came to our peaceful little New England village recently. Of course we covered it in our paper. They wrapped themselves up, naked of course, like packages of meat right in the middle of town square.
They weren’t arrested. Labels on the “packages” covered up anything inappropirate — and they had a permit.
I have to say, PETA’s tactics do work sometimes. I once saw a PETA video about the way KFC treats its chickens — it showed them snapping their beaks off so they won’t peck each other. To this day I can’t eat KFC.
Now, they probably snap beaks off at other chicken farms, but I don’t want to know about it. Love chicken toooo much.

Well..I’m also animals lover. I join Human society of United state to help them protect the animal. But I being honest that i can’t life without Chicken. I’ve been raise in my country where chicken meat is a lot cheaper than beef. So we all familiar with chicken meat. And in my believe which is Islam, We pray first to Allah before we kill the chicken or the other animal. This prayer is because we believe that anmal also Allah creature and we can’t eat it if the animal already death and not clean. Because is considering Haram. But wearing any other fur from other animal is just un acceptable for me. For me if they breath they can feel the pain. So people who love wearing a coat or clothes from animal body or skin, I give them my 2 cents.
I cant say i’m againts KFC, I love KFC! But i thinks they should respect chicken more by terat them nicely before chop their head.
Just my humble opinion

Don’t forget that in Indonesia everyone (including KFC) must slaughter their chickens based on Islamic rule, that is by ensuring they suffer as little pain as possible:
God’s Messenger(s) was reported as saying: ‘Allah Who is Blessed and Exalted, has prescribed benevolence toward everything {and has ordained that everything be done in a good way}; so, when you must kill a living being, do it in the best manner and, when you slaughter an animal, you should {use the best method and} sharpen your knife so as to cause the animal as little pain as possible. (Narrated by Shaddad bin Aus. Muslim; Vol. 2, Chapter 11; Section on ‘Slaying’; 10:739, verse 151. Also ‘Robson’ (Ref. No. 15); p. 872. Also recorded in Riyad. (Ref. No. 28); Hadith No. 643; p. 131).
The Messenger of Allah was heard forbidding to keep waiting a quadruped or any other animal for slaughter. (Bukhari. Also Muslim; Vol. 2, Chapter 11; Section on ‘Slaying’; 10:739; verse 152. Also ‘Robson’ (Ref. NO. 15), p. 872).
The Prophet(s) forbade all living creatures to be slaughtered while tied up
and bound. (id (Ref. No. 46); Hadith No. 4817; p. 1079).
The Holy Prophet(s) said to a man who was sharpening his knife in the presence of the animal: ‘Do you intend inflicting death on the animal twice - once by sharpening the knife within its sight, and once by cutting its throat?’ (Al-Furu Min-al-Kafi Lil-Kulini; 6:230).
So far there has never been debate about this in Indonesia, correct me if I’m wrong.
