Hi Apples, nice to see you're back. There I've fixed the missing point on the place I'd rather be. That'd make Singapore the place I really want to be lol. Actually the hubby has been asking me already whether I have checked job vacancies there, just to let us know what to expect etc. Originally we wanted to stay in Indonesia, we both love the country but it's so difficult to get the job for him, so we thought Singapore is better; especially because it's easier to get internet access. We can't be separated from the net, mind you :-)

Ah yes, Indonesia--the country of contrast. We can always find the richest and the poorest people there. But what I miss the most is the hospitality. It's not always honest, of course, but still better than being bitter. I think I love the country more now that I'm far. I don't know what'd I feel once we're back there--hopefully in May. Zsolt always told me it's better to live in Indonesia than here--well, maybe, except for the internet lol.

Oh and thank you very much for the compliment. You are such a darling :) I'm a writer wannabe heh heh.

Hey Ayu, you missed out 1 more on 'Places you'd rather be':) Me curious.

Are you serious about Singapore? Come, come you're all welcome...:)

Gee thanks if you thought my 4 things were impressive..blush blush but hey that's a cool job isn't it, translating books and all. Oh did I tell you I was in journalism school for 2 years? hhehe dropped it and transferred to another faculty.
Wow at least you enjoyed your teenage years with the fan club! That's a great exposure to events management isn't it?:)

You know what I totally agree with you about being in an Indonesian village. I think Indonesians are blessed with abundance of good food and environment. The village there is sooo beautiful and tranquil. I never ate the 'bestest' singkong (tapioca) in all my entire life!:) It's just too bad that most people there are driven by material pursuits...well like all else just that I suppose the economic divisions there are really wide.

Hmm I think the reverse culture shock would be worse..not sure about you though..perhaps on the contrary. I was from a land of 'freedom' coming back to a 'caged' land..what do you expect?:) But I suppose I'm pretty much assimilated already:)

You know what Ayu, I think your journalistic skills are excellent. I really think you should continue to hone your skills and perhaps this blog you have could be a good platform for what might be in store for you:)

Well, I'm glad too to have tagged you and enjoyed reading your 4 things. Learnt quite a good deal about you from here:) Thanks for sharing!:)

Cheers!
